I first met Amber and Kaleb when they were in their friends' wedding party at a wedding we were photographing. Three weddings in the same friend group later, we had the privilege of working with Amber and Kaleb - and what a stunning wedding it turned out to be!
We drove up to Hemlock Barn for the first time weeks before their wedding, and we were amazed by the beauty of the property. From the woods where Amber and Kaleb said their vows to the bridal loft overlooking the barn's interior to the gazebo on the lake, this place is simply beautiful.
Amber's custom dress was one of my favorites of ALL TIME. Seriously, those cap sleeves are to die for!
Their reception was one for the books! From the speeches by Amber's BFF/new sister in law and Kaleb's brother to their sweet first dance to the father-daughter dance as Amber's sister sang, sweet moments weren't hard to come by. And that party was on fire!
My favorite part of Amber and Kaleb's wedding day was when we followed them to their "spot," an unnamed, unmarked location on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We approached this expansive field in the heart of Appalachia just as the sun was going down. This was one of those moments that I needed to pinch myself. It's so hard to believe that being an artist and working with clients like Amber and Kaleb is considered a "job." For us, photographing and filming weddings is more than just adding to our portfolio, and this wedding was no exception. Our clients become our family.
Amber and Kaleb, we couldn't be happier for you. Thank you for inviting us into your wedding day and for being such amazing, genuine people.
